Oury Clark currently have 2 Remote Desktop servers:
rd.ouryclark.com - for OCA users
rd.ocsolicitors.com - for OCS users
To access a remote desktop session (Windows):
Go to your Start Menu and type mstsc into the search bar and press Return
In theRemote Desktop screen type the name of the corresponding server above you need to access.
Enter your username with OC domain prefix as follows: OURYCLARK\firstname.lastname
Use your most recent password
The remote desktop will then.
Fire up Outlook and you should be good to go.
If you go to Start>Computer you will be able to access all of the network drives you have access to on site as well.
If you want to access your own desktop remotely you must do the following:
- Leave your computer switched on before you leave
- Make sure you know your computer name – if not go to Start Menu>Computer – right click and select Properties – you will see ‘Computer name’ near the bottom – make a note of it
- Make sure your computer is not in any kind of Power Saving mode – check this in Start>Control Panel>Power Options – select a plan which is not a Power saver.
- On the remote computer launch the Remote Desktop screen (see instructions above) and type in your computer name
- Use your current username and password to login.
